SCORE Class 10

SCORE Class 10 is an open wheel limited motor class that competes in the SCORE off-road race series including the Baja 1000, Baja 500, San Felipe 250, Primm 300 and the Laughlin Desert Challenge. 4-wheel single and two-seat vehicles less than 2000 cc in size. No production bodied vehicles are allowed in this class.

Vehicle description

Class 10 vehicles are most often 2-wheel drive, and most feature a 4130 chrome-moly tube-frame chassis covered by a fiberglass or other composite body.

Class requirements

Engine

Production engines produced in quantities greater than 5,000 and less than 2000 cc in stock form. Additional engine size and configuration limitations exist based on number of seats, cooling type(air/water) and intake(carburetor/injection). Although 2000 cc air-cooled engines can be used, most 2-seat Class 10 vehicles implement a carbureted water-cooled engine less than 1650 cc in size.

May not have a production appearing Utility or Sport Utility body.
